Silver Level

Silver level is your second level in the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. If you have completed Bronze level tasks, you will need at least 6 months to complete Silver level tasks. Otherwise, you will need at least 12 months to obtain your Silver Level Certificate and Badge.

You can start your Silver challenge immediately after you have completed Bronze. If you have not yet completed Bronze Level, you are not eligible to begin your Silver Level until 15 years old.

In this process, you need to complete activities in three sections: Skills, Physical Recreation, and Voluntary Service. You need to choose specific activities from these three sections that suit you. When you do the Silver Level Challenge without completing the Bronze Award, you need to choose one of these three sections as your major. In addition, you need to complete the training, practice journey and qualifying journey. When all four sections are completed, you are eligible to sign off Silver award.
